I had the great privilege yesterday to photograph a portrait on behalf of Essex County Council for Frank, The Chairman’s Chauffeur, who is due to retire at the end of this month.
We were given special permission by Cllr Kay Twitchen to drive the gleaming Jaguar up to the main steps at the foot of the Council offices atrium, which caused great interest around Chelmsford’s Town Centre, people where stopping to see what was happening as we manoeuvred the car into position and set up lighting and tripods.
Frank has been the Chairman’s Chauffeur for over 25 years and said he will be a little sorry to see ECC1 go!
